I am an experienced communications professional combining a vivid and fluid imagination with a structured, practical mindset. This mix makes me your ideal ally in making things happen, smoothing processes out, engaging your team and your audience, and creating unique projects with vision and character.
Creativity – questioning assumptions, making connections, shifting perspectives, exploring the thinkable, and remixing reality – is a daily practice for me. It’s also an attitude that reflects in everything I do.
Among other things, I have written for different media (from TV to the web), produced shows and events, developed creative visions for cultural brands, managed the marketing communications of a hospitality brand, managed editorial and cultural projects, and single-handedly (but in great company) created and run my own brand, As Soup As Possible.
My formal education is in Communications and Arts and Culture Management. However, I hope to keep learning as long as I live – reading, studying, experimenting, and asking (myself) questions.
I have lived, studied and worked in different parts of Italy before moving to Amsterdam in 2012. Since 2022 I have been based in Rotterdam. Interculturally and internationally-minded, I enjoy working with international clients and abroad.
If you are curious about my CV, you can check out my LinkedIn profile. However, other things describe me better than the chronological list of my job titles.
You don’t really know someone until you learn what matters to them. Values and world views are what moves people. While they rarely shine through the lines of a CV, they have a powerful impact on relations and output. I have come to believe that value alignment at work is the single most important condition to enable excellent results, trust, confidence, and innovation. And that’s why I thought you should know what I stand for.
Values:
Integrity
Let’s make business ethical and instrumental to the greater good for people and life on the Planet! My commitment to integrity starts in the respect I have for my own work and that of others. Equally, I choose to collaborate with people and organisations who strive to be accountable, professional, and consistent.
Sustainability and Justice
Environmental, social, and cultural sustainability mean a lot to me. I try to stay mindful of the impact of my actions, behaviours, and work. As a result, I strive to stay aware of injustice, inequality, privileges and biases. I try to offset them in my work practices.
Playfulness
I believe that work should spark joy. Play keeps joy and inspiration in my work while helping me connect with people and cultivate my emotional intelligence. Playfulness is serious business: it belongs in the workplace just as much as creativity and collaboration.
Collaboration
I am a natural relationship and community builder (some would call me a networker). I knit networks of meaningful relationships based on shared values and collaboration, constructive challenges, resource-sharing, and co-learning.
Quality over quantity
In a noisy world overcrowded by empty messages, FOMO and haste, I believe in the role of Quality. It begins with communicating when there is something meaningful and unique to say that creates recognisable value for someone.
Curiosity & Continuous Learning
My love of learning makes me an attentive listener who enjoys every opportunity for knowledge exchange. I can learn from anyone and everyone and try to stay humble and aware of what I still don’t know. Equally, I admire leaders who stay curious and open to question their own mental habits and convictions.
Interdisciplinarity & Adaptability
A generalist with big-picture view and a toolbox of many transferable skills, I believe in the value of eclecticism. An interdisciplinary attitude helps you stay relevant, rearrange and adapt swiftly, and thrive in today’s complexity. I cultivate it to stay inspired and bring extra value and agility to the work I do.
How about setting up a call?
